Community Outreach
The Feel Free Festival was made possible through the sponsorship of the City Artist Corps Grant from the New York Foundation for the Arts and Open Culture NYC. The performance featured original works by the Full Circle Souljahs Company, Rap Artist Geneus, and Janice Tomlinson. In addition, DJ KS360 was spinning on the 1's and 2's. After the performance, the community enjoyed two free hip-hop dance classes taught by B-girl Rokafella and Janice Tomlinson. This street festival also promoted health awareness in collaboration with healthcare professionals from NYSNA, 1199 Union, Safe Space Therapy Services, and a self-massage workshop led by Camilla Davis, LMT.
